Basically, post how much RAM AKA memory you have.
I have 4GB in my iMac, and my old computer (now my dad's) has 1GB.

my parents said they increased it when i got a new harddrive, so idk...?

So in that I would assume you had 512 MB RAM, which is rather scary if you're running anything other than like 2000 or XP imo...
My comp has 4 GB, and I love it, hardly ever slows down unless I have like 45 explorer windows open[I tested it].

For awhile I had 512MB running Vista. Damn it was slow.
